ICE Immigration raids A glimpse

U.S. immigration officials raided several food-processing plants in Mississippi, detaining 680 people suspected of being…

Cant we open our hearts to people?

ICE immigration raids on near 700 individuals, and soundly show that raiding populations of immigrants is both common and heartbreaking.

(While it is true that workers that are undocumented don’t usually pay taxes for work, but they do everywhere else! Taxes are collected everywhere now, unfortunately it’s hard to focus on the taxes immigrants don’t pay, when major corporations soundly get away with paying no taxes at all! Sorry, read on!)

How patriotic do we feel about rounding people up and deporting them? This is the question we must ask as why America has so many undocumented immigrants and why we have to work with them through ICE are questions that need not be answered.
I understand the sentiment of the government in which they deemed people who entered illegally as in need of attention; but do you (yes you anybody in particular) really think with all the discrimination, mass shootings, and hate in America that this is the proper way of setting an example to your people?
Let’s show compassion to individuals that need it; let’s not terrorize families making a living.

An undocumented immigrant who was detained Wednesday in immigration sweeps in Mississippi says she is exhausted from the ordeal and is deciding what to do next after her release.

While it sounds viable to persecute criminals and safely release safer individuals, it is alarming that so many where forced into this ordeal. Normally taking in criminals is a valiant job and should be commended, however these people weren’t violent or resisting with nefarious intent, moreover the way in which ICE immigration raids occur by targeting vulnerable people in their vulnerable times, should raise a few questions.

It The violence against this community has been tough already especially exemplified by recent mass shootings Cracking down further on this community with ICE Immigration raids further causes terror (this does not sit right, is what I’m saying)

I would like to make a disclaimer here, ICE is a government agency and thus has the legal power and authority to do this. Also please understand there are many fine Americans working at ICE and we need to make sure everybody safely expresses their opinions on this. We don’t want you to lose faith in an entire agency as hopefully their core mission is to be on the side of the people.

If you are worried immigrants are unsafe I ask you to please remember how scared they are to be targeted by people and their government, and then be labeled as dangerous. If you worry they don’t pay taxes, first I’m sure the general population of people working under-the-table will come to their defense.

This is not to say you should be here illegally, just that people living under these circumstances are a part of America in this age. The right amount of attention is required to attend to a problem that leads to hundreds of people getting arrested in one day. Only people in positions of power have answers, but every citizen has a right to them.
