HAZEL CREST, Ill., July 17, 2023 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ — We the Peace, a local 501c3 started by Barbara and Robyn Donaldson, long time residents are partnering with Grande Prairie Public Library, Hazel Crest and Country Club Hills’ –Villages, Police Departments and Park Districts.
We are on a mission to to offer BE GOOD ENERGY programming that uplifts, focuses on trauma informed care; and builds community around holistic health.
Our mission is to provide youth (ages 10-18 years old), public servants and marginalized communities with programming and training in mental health education, trauma informed care, restorative justice, healing arts and community building.
We will seek to provide financial support for youth attending college and/or pursuing studies in STEM, politics or education. Our primary focus is young people (ages 10-18 years old); particularly black youth and youth from marginalized groups or communities.
