Nine Year Old's Imaginative Story Inspires Savanah's Adventures Series

Xulon Press presents book one in a new juvenile fictional series starring a sassy little cat.

JANESVILLE, Wis., July 20, 2023 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ — Authors Laura Diehl and Alainah Diehl provide young readers with a heartwarming story in Savanah Needs a Home ($14.99, paperback, 9781662878572; $5.99, e-book, 9781662878589).

Grandmother, Laura Diehl, teams up with her young granddaughter, Alainah Diehl, to pen an adorable fictional series to be enjoyed by children of all ages. Book one in the Savanah’s Adventures Series features a sassy little kitten named Savanah, who finds herself in a rescue shelter. Savanah quickly learns the ropes from the old cat next to her, especially that being nice is necessary to landing a good home. Learning to put on the charm to prospective adopters, Savanah’s newfound sweetness draws the attention of Molly, who falls in love with the kitten and provides her with a loving family.

Young readers will immensely enjoy the series as it explores the fun and adventures that Savanah the cat experiences while living in a house on wheels. This book was inspired by nine-year-old Alainah Diehl, who made up a story about her Grandma Lolli’s and Pop’s cat, who lives and travels across the nation with them in a motor home. One story led to another, and soon, author Laura Diehl (Grandma Lolli) realized this would make a fun children’s book series. Complementing each adventure, Savanah the cat sings a little song to herself with the same tune each time. Lyrics are provided so children can sing along.

Alainah Diehl has always been very creative and enjoys entertaining family and friends with her made up stories and songs. Singing and dancing are some of her favorite things to do, as well as participating in cheer at the gym her parents own.

Laura Diehl is the author of eight published books and multiple eBooks, along with being a national speaker, singer and podcaster. She was previously a preschool teacher. She and her husband, Dave, live full time in a motor home called the Hope Mobile. They travel the nation providing support and resources for bereaved parents after the death of a child. Their ministry (GPS Hope) is based on losing their oldest daughter, Becca at age 29. Prior to her daughter’s passing, Diehl was an international children’s minister, traveling to many countries. A portion of each book sold will generously be donated to the Humane Society. To learn more about the real “Savanah the cat” visit http://www.SavanahsAdventures.com.
