ARLINGTON, Va., Oct. 5, 2023 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ — Roger Moore has joined the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA) as the Policy Director in the Government Relations team. In this role, he will research, develop, and coordinate policies and positions for the association, as well as lead efforts to include NAIFA positions into model legislation and regulations with legislators, regulators, partner organizations, and NAIFA state chapters.
Moore brings multiple years of experience in government relations and public policy roles. Prior to joining NAIFA, he worked for more than seven years with the Council of State Governments (CSG), where he had the opportunity to build relationships with elected and appointed officials, government staff, and policy experts at the state and federal levels. At CSG, Moore led research initiatives focusing on balance billing, long-term care, healthcare reform, and public health initiatives, among other policy priorities for state government bodies.

Moore holds an M.A. in political science from Georgia State University and a B.A. in history from New York University. He currently resides in the New York City metro area.
