Media Advisory – The Government of Canada will make a significant funding announcement regarding a project of the Port of Montreal in Contrecoeur

MONTRÉAL, Oct. 6, 2023 /CNW/ – The Minister of Transport and Quebec Lieutenant, Pablo Rodriguez, will make an announcement regarding a new investment under the National Trade Corridors Fund to the Montreal Port Authority for a project in Contrecoeur. He will be joined by Ms. Geneviève Deschamps, interim President and CEO of the Montreal Port Authority.

The dignitaries will be available to answer media questions after the announcement.

Parking: 
Parking is available at the Grand Quai parking lot located at 200 De la Commune West Street. A parking voucher will be provided at the reception area of the Tower entrance (gate 19).

Note: There will be an opportunity to take images from a river shuttle in transit at the start of the event. To get there, a minibus will be provided for interested camerapersons and photographers. We recommend arriving by 9:15 a.m. to set up your equipment at the news conference site. You can then board the minibus to travel to the river shuttle. The minibus will depart from the Tower entrance at 9:40 a.m. Late arrivals will not be able to participate in this activity.

Please note that you must be wearing flat shoes to ride the river shuttle. Personal flotation devices will also be provided for passengers.
