Winred and Meet the POTUS Donald Trump Campaign Advertisement

A new sponsored fundraiser on Winred, along with DonaldJTrump.com, offers the chance to meet the POTUS Donald Trump. Except, there are a few things you should know.

Meeting the POTUS (President of The United States) is a huge deal for anyone. How often do you get to meet one of the most powerful people in the world. Well Donald J. Trump, the 45th and current POTUS (President of the United States) is giving people that chance!

Before anyone brings politics into this article, let’s talk about the ad/fundraiser itself. Meet Winred, the Republican Committee funded and President Donald Trump backed fundraising platform.

Like most fundraising platforms, they offer major groups the capability to raise money through targeted marketing. Winred is exclusive to the GOP and Republican party; their target audience is conservatives in the US.

Check out the official Windred Fundraiser to Meet the POTUS, the latest fundraiser for the President.

Check out a previous fundraiser for Donald J. Trump on Winred where they “must keep fighting the media, Democrats, and the special interests who thrive off of the swamp.”

But let’s talk about the Meet the POTUS opportunity offered by DonaldJTrump.com, the official site for Donald J Trump and his campaign. This opportunity is offered for FREE on DonaldJTrump.com, and effectively ends on July 5th, 2020. Names will be drawn on July 6th, 2020. Winners are also allowed to invite a guest, family member or friend with them.

Check out the contest entry.

Meet The President Sweepstakes or Meet The POTUS Contest

The official contest (free to enter contest) is unsearchable through their site or Google, mainly because they aren’t advertising it. However the fundraiser offers a disclaimer in very small font size that shows us the free option to enter. Don’t worry we’ve found and linked the relevant ways to enter here!

Titled Meet The President Sweepstakes or Meet The POTUS Contest, the contest follows the following format, paraphrased and not the exact language used.

Once entered into the Meet The President Sweepstakes, or Meet the POTUS Contest, the sponsor (Donald J. Trump for President, Inc.) will:

  • Select 50 individuals at random from the total pool on July 6th, 2020
  • Sponsor (Donald J. Trump for President, Inc.) may (probably will) conduct a background check on picked candidates. In their terms, the Sponsor has the “sole discretion”.
  • The Sponsor will screen the 50 individuals and select those who have passed the background check for the safety and security, and potential disruption of the event. (This has us wonder if #BLM protesters or supporters fall under this, but read further!)
  • The Sponsor will then select a winner from this group “on the basis of criteria determined and applied by Sponsor to provide for an appropriate range of views, backgrounds, and interests”. Like our last point, we wonder where that line of views, backgrounds and interests is drawn.
  • The chosen winner will then be notified “by phone or e-mail no later than July 13, 2020”
  • Winners will then notify the Sponsor of their guest, and a subsequent background check is done on them.
  • “Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any potential guest in Sponsor’s sole discretion.”
  • Inquires and official announcements for the name of the winner will be available August 5th, 2020.

This contest is completely free to enter, though without coming across it through a bit of research or reading the incredibly tiny text on the Winred fundraiser that might prove difficult.

Individuals interested in Meeting the President of the United States have the option of contributing to their campaign or entering for free.
