The Twitter Blue Check Subscription Plan is finally available as of November 9th, for anyone looking to get that juicy verification checkmark on Twitter without the hassle of proving immense public presence.
Although initially only available for their IOS, Twitter has officially updated Verified Accounts Page, which details how to get your account verified on Twitter.
Twitter Blue Check Subscription Plan Available Now
Twitter officially rolls out their Blue Check subscription plan for the IOS on November 9th, 2022.
Elon Musk has been active on Twitter, promoting the idea of a subscription based Blue Check plan. Though this will significantly increase the number of Verified Twitter Blue Checks, it will also create a more thorough source of verified users for Twitter to analyze and work with.
While critics disagree with Elon’s brashness, it may prove to be effective as the company goes ahead with the decision and officially rolls out their Twitter Blue Check subscription plan for the IOS.
Currently only available in these 5 countries as of November 9th, 2022:
- Australia
- Canada
- New Zeal
- United Kingdom
- United States
So what’s stopping you! Get your Twitter Blue Check today if you can afford it! Except if you don’t have an IOS device or are outside of those 5 countries, then you may have to wait.
In the meantime, people who don’t have or won’t get the Twitter Blue Check subscription plan don’t need to worry too much, as it seems to be primarily to support the platform while creating a source of verified users and the free version should always exist.
Twitter’s data is one of the most important human collections of information we can have. Adding a larger data set of more legitimate humans is only a plus in my personal view.
The idea that people pay for this is generally the only option that is sustainable for a public company that will create new products and services around these new verified users.
People using Twitter for free, without a verification Blue Check, will experience new people joining the ranks, which may not be a bad thing if you know who you follow.
Another way to look at this is just a larger amount of voices who are putting their money where their mouth is.
