- Maintaining a strong national defense provided by dedicated, skilled, diverse, and highly capable personnel in the uniformed services.
- Maintaining compensation, benefits, and entitlements at levels sufficient to attract and retain professional uniformed services members for duty and potentially for careers of service to our nation.
- Educating the public on the extraordinary demands and sacrifices associated with a career in the uniformed services.
