New report underscores the cost-savings and overall health benefits of dental insurance

OAK BROOK, Ill., July 27, 2021 /PRNewswire/ — New research from Delta Dental Plans Association shows that Americans value the cost-savings, peace of mind, and overall health benefits of dental insurance. A vast majority of Americans with dental insurance reported* that having coverage helps them to maintain good oral health (96%), saves money in the long run (91%), is well worth the cost (91%), and provides relief from having to worry about dental emergencies (95%). They also recognize other overall health benefits, such as peace of mind (95%) and the opportunity to lead a healthy life (93%).
