TORONTO, June 16, 2022 /CNW/ – Mystartr is proud to be Canada’s only national, employer-led coalition dedicated to helping young people overcome barriers to employment and realize their full potential.
Join us this Friday with the Toronto Raptors own Dalano Banton as he chats with selected youth about his experiences in his first job and how working as a young adult made him the star he is today!
This is a very important conversation as youth face many barriers in gaining employment and the number of unemployed youth continues to be high.

- Youth unemployment is double the national adult rate
- 60% of NEET youth in Canada are actively looking for work
- Employment levels for youth have remained flat since 2018
The event will occur at the Albion Library, with 20 lucky youth selected to be part of this meet and greet.
Dalano will speak, host a Q and A, and then spend some time with the youth.
