Mercer Advisors Refreshes Brand with a Modern Approach to Wealth Management

New brand update communicates a differentiated offering, the value of fiduciary advice, and the continued evolution of Mercer Advisors as a National RIA firm

DENVER, Jan. 23, 2023 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ — Mercer Advisors Inc. (“Mercer Advisors”), a national Registered Investment Adviser (RIA) firm, announced today it is refreshing its brand to communicate a more modern approach to the delivery of wealth management services and reflect the firm’s ongoing evolution as one of the industry’s leading advisory firms. As part of the comprehensive brand identify update, new messaging, color palette, and images will now be key components for the firm’s website, marketing materials, thought leadership programs, as well as an enhanced social media presence.

Mercer Advisors’ new branding, which reflects what a modern wealth management experience can be, includes messaging that accents the ways that Mercer Advisors is different from traditional advisors. These include the idea of “Connecting the Dots” which refers to the many facets and service offerings needed to effectively deliver a unified and integrated wealth management client experience. It also reflects the value proposition Mercer Advisors brings by integrating a complete offering of financial planning, investment management, tax planning and filing, estate planning, trust, and insurance services, all delivered through one unified, fiduciary, client experience via in-house advisors, CFP® professionals, CPAs, and attorneys.

“We are a much different firm today than when our last branding was developed in 2017. Most notably, our tremendous growth from $12 billion to $46 billion in AUM and from 8,000 clients to more than 27,500 clients,” said Dave Welling, CEO of Mercer Advisors. “We also now provide a more robust service model that provides comprehensive planning and execution of the plan so clients can get on with their lives. As a result, it is time for us to communicate better who we are, what we stand for, and why we are different from many of the advisors out there. Getting feedback from clients, partners, and prospects in this fresh new branding and messaging development have been an energizing experience, and we are excited to unveil the new image of Mercer Advisors.”

As part of the research that went into the re-branding, several distinctive findings were discovered, including the fact that the majority of advisory firms’ brands and marketing approaches were all similar. “Our research showed that there was literally a ‘sea of sameness’ when we looked at hundreds of advisory firm websites,” said Jose Bandujo, Founder and Chief Creative Officer for Bandujo, an industry leading design firm who led the re-branding effort for Mercer Advisors. “The majority of them all said the same thing and did not effectively communicate the value of what an independent, fiduciary advisor brings to helping investors, which is a large, missed opportunity and one that we have brought to life with the new branding for Mercer Advisors.”

Gary Foodim, Chief Marketing Officer for Mercer Advisors, spearheaded the project for the company and brought his unique experience as a consumer and brand marketing executive. “Many people think that financial complexity only comes with expanded net worth, however, we know that complexity exists even for families in the early stages of their lives, and they also need an enhanced wealth management experience that we are distinctly positioned to deliver. One of our key messages is that everyone works hard for their wealth, and it’s our job as advisors to help them find meaning in what’s it all for so that we can guide them to their ultimate destination,” Foodim said.

“Ultimately, we help connect the dots of our clients’ financial lives. That is something that was important for us to communicate in our refreshed branding. We are excited to bring a fresh perspective for how investors may be better off working with a fiduciary advisory. Ultimately, if we can help elevate the dialog for the entire independent RIA community, that’s even better.”
