MONCTON, NB, June 5, 2024 /CNW/ – The Salvation Army, in partnership with Running Room, Q103 and New Country 96.9, is hosting the return of the I Care Enough (ICE) 2 Run fundraiser to send kids from the Greater Moncton area to summer camp.
The event is returning after a four-year hiatus due to COVID. All the money raised will go toward funding the campers for a weeklong summer holiday at Scotian Glen Camp in Nova Scotia. It will be 80’s themed and feature a 1k, 5k and 10k walk or run. Participants are encouraged to come dressed up in their most colourful 80’s workout clothes. There will be a costume competition and prizes.

Where: Running Room, 300 Main St., Moncton. The Riverfront Trail behind the building.
When: Saturday, June 8. The race begins at 10 a.m.
Why: To help send Greater Moncton kids to summer camp.
