Company growth and expanded opportunities in U.S. infrastructure market lead to executive appointments

- Scott Haywood, Central Division president and senior vice president
- Jeff Watson, PE, West Division president and senior vice president

Haywood leads the Central Division, which encompasses offices in nine states. Most recently serving as HNTB’s office leader for the firm’s central and south Texas offices, Haywood began his career with HNTB in 2015.
Haywood has held multiple leadership roles in the public and private sector and has demonstrated a commitment to industry and community organizations throughout his career. He is an active member of the Women’s Transportation Seminar Heart of Texas Chapter, serving as a mentor for several years. Currently, Haywood serves on the executive committee and board of directors for the Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce as vice-chair for regional mobility.
Watson leads the West Division, which includes California, Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico and Hawaii. During his 19-year tenure at HNTB, Watson has worked in multiple geographies and held various leadership positions, including his most recent role as the office leader of the Northern California and Nevada offices.
Under his leadership, the Northern California office established an equity-based scholarship with a local collegiate partner and raised more than $150,000 for charities in the region. In addition, the office has grown the number of employees by 65 percent.
